Each Game has a grand prize of 1/2 of all entry fees; i.e. for 8 players $40

GBF RULES

  1. Contestants may choose 1 person on their team so there won’t be any confusion between players

  2. You must have good sportsmanship and no profanity

  3. Every player must know how to play the game

  4. There will be a contest bracket so players must SHOW us not tell us who won to prevent arguments

  5. All games played will be 5v5 regulated teams

  6. The difficulty setting will depend on age level

  7. Quarter length will be 8 minutes each.

  8. If the player your facing against is up by 21+ the game is over and the player who was up by 21 wins. (this keeps the flow of every game at a fast pace so everyone can play)

  9. Players must respect equipment (all following

  10. No throwing controllers

  11. No Stomping

  12. Arguing at a high voice Level

  13. No hitting

  14. And no restarting games for any reason you may have to let one of the game coaches and we will decide on the next step

  15. There will be no shutting off systems.

  16. Anyone who does abide by these rules will be disqualified.

  17. Abuse: Verbal and/or written abuse of a Tournament Official will not be tolerated through any medium. This includes, but is not limited to, voice communications in game, voice messages, live support chats, written messages on GameBattles, Twitter, Facebook, etc. Violators of this rule may be disqualified from the Tournament.

  18. Decisions Are Final: Tournament Staff have the final decision in all matters related to this competition. If a player feels the decision is unjust and/or goes against the rules listed for this competition, an Arena: Staff Report Ticket should be submitted for review. Please include any information and proof pertinent to the issue.

  19. Prize(s) are subject to change based on the total number of eligible teams at the end of registration.

 
 

MADDEN CLASSIC COMPETITION

2018 OFFICIAL RULES

This contest is sponsored by Grace Parties in Antioch, CA. Grace Parties is a program sponsored by Grace Bible Fellowship of Antioch. A local non-domination church located in Antioch CA.

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY TO ENTER. VOID WHERE PROHIBITED BY LAW.

1. Eligibility. This 2018 Madden Classic (the “Madden Classic” or the “Competition”) is only open to the general public and is meant to be for entertainment purposes.

2. Competition Overview.  Competition takes place August 18, 2018 through August 26, 2018. The registration period runs from June 17, 2018 through August 8, 2018. (all dates subject to change).

16 players can register and a random draw will be conducted to determine the completion play. The registered players who are deemed eligible (signed up and made payments) to compete (the “Competitors”) will take part in the Competition and play in the following series of elimination events until a single Competitor is crowned Winner of the Madden Classic:

 

3. To Enter. The Grace Parties Madden Classic will have 16 Competitors, and registration can be completed online or by contacting the Grace Parties Administration team.

4. Competition Structure. All games will be played at Grace Bible Fellowship of Antioch; 3415 Oakley Road, Antioch, CA, 94509. Madden Classic will be played using the Madden NFL Head to Head (“H2H”) game mode or its equivalent.

5. Gameplay Format.

6.1 Team Selection in each Phase of the Tournament Competitors will select the NFL franchise that they want to use in each round of the tournament.

6.1.1 Double Blind Selection Either player must explicitly ask for the Double Blind Selection method before the start of the game if they are concerned about their opponent counter-picking a lock in team selection. When a player requests Double Blind Selection, both players will then communicate their franchise selection to a member of the Madden League Operations team. The Madden league Operations team will then inform both players on the teams that will be used in the game.

6.1.2 Custom Playbook & Audibles Usage Custom playbooks will be allowed for the Online Elimination phase of the competition if it only consist of audible changes.  The addition of new plays or formations to a custom playbook is prohibited. At the Madden Classic Live finals competitors will have the ability to set audibles offline without the use of custom playbooks.

6.2 Elimination Formats Once the bracket has been seeded, Competitors will be matched randomly by Grace Parties Administration team.

NBA2K GENERAL INFORMATION

Settings

  • Any setting not listed below should not be changed from its default state within the private match lobby. the Global settings are to be used for all Game modes unless otherwise specified in the game modes specific section.

  • The hosting team is responsible for setting up a private lobby match with the correct settings and the correct map. If the hosting team starts the game with the wrong settings, it will result in penalties for that map/mode. Please refer to the Penalties section of this rules page.

Penalties

  1. Settings: The hosting team will forfeit the game where the incorrect setting(s) affected the game.

  2. Restricted Teams: Use of any restricted team will result in the loss of the game.

  3. Equipment: Players may not use a Turbo controller, a Button Macro controller or Keyboard/Mouse. Turbo controllers allow Players to press a button that results in their Character performing a set of actions that would normally require the Player to press the same button multiple times. Button Macro controllers allow Players to press a button that results in their Character performing a set of actions that would normally require the Player to press multiple buttons. The team using the ineligible equipment will forfeit that games of the match it was used on.

  4. IP Flooding (DDoS Attacks): Performing or assisting with a DDoS attack of your opponent will result in immediate disqualification of that team. All players on that team will be suspended from GameBattles for up to seven hundred and thirty (730) days.

  5. Evading a Tournament or Servere Site Ban: Any player found evading a severe site ban or one related to Online Tournaments will be disqualified from this competition. If that player participates in any part of the match during the first tournament round, that team will forfeit the games that were played. If that player participates in any part of a match after the first tournament round, that team will be disqualified from the competition. The offending player(s) will be suspended from GameBattles for up to ninety (90) days.

  6. Account Recovering XBL or PSN Accounts: Tournament participants are forbidden to allow others to play in this competition in place of them by sharing XBL or PSN accounts. The offending the team forfeit the entire match. The offending players will be suspended from the site for up to thirty (30) days.

  7. Modified Console/Hacks/Mods: Use of a modified/jail broken console, in game hacks, and/or mods will result in the immediate disqualification of that team. The player(s) using the modified console, hacks, and/or mods will be suspended from GameBattles for up to seven hundred and thirty (730) days. The rest of the team will be suspended for up to ninety (90) days.

  8. Evading a Ban: If a player is found evading a ban the team will be disqualified from this competition. The offending player(s) will be suspended from GameBattles for up to ninety (90) days.

  9. Lack of Cooperation: Failing to comply with Support Staff's directions and/or requests may result in the forfeit of round(s), a map, or the entire match.  Verbal or written abuse of a staff member will result in a suspension from GameBattles for up to twenty (20) days.

  10. Failure to Report a Tournament Match: Any team leader/captain that fails to report their tournament match within ten (10) minutes after the conclusion of their match or upon receiving notification from support staff to do so, may be suspended from the site for up to twenty-four (24) hours.

  11. Warnings: Tournament Officials may issue a Warning for infractions including, but not limited to, the use of profane words or phrases, discussion of controversial religious topics, threats/implied violence, lack of punctuality, and failure to follow tournament staff instructions. All warnings and penalties are given to the team, not the individual player. Teams may also be warned or incur a penalty for repeated warnings in regards to the same rule. Depending on the severity of the action or conduct by a player, multiple warnings may be handed out for a single infraction, up to and including bypassing warnings and resulting in an immediate penalty.

  12. Penalties: After a maximum of three (3) warnings, post-warning penalties, including but not limited to the following, may be enforced: A Game Forfeit, a Match Forfeit, and a GB/MLG Site Ban for a specified duration. Penalties may also be combined with other penalties.

  13. Disqualification: Some infractions may result in warnings and penalties being bypassed with immediate disqualification from the remainder of the Tournament being enforced. Examples of behavior or actions that could result in this are physical acts violence, cheating, collusion/manipulating the bracket, drug/substance abuse on-site, any illegal activities, betting or gambling on a tournament or match results, hate speech, and harassment.
