Stage name, Freda has been sitting in the front of the church singing and praising God since she was 5 years old. At the young age of 10, she sang in the radio/TV choir for Greater St. John Baptist Church, the church where she grew up. As a young adult, shortly after joining the 100-voice Echoes of Zion Choir, Freda became one of its lead vocalists. She later became lead vocalist for a group of four young ladies known as the St. John Specials. Always performing her own original material, Freda has sung with many gospel greats such as: Vickie Winans, Albertina Walker, Tonex & the Gospel Elites, Helen Baylor, Hezekiah Walker,

Born and raised in the Bay Area, Demetrius began playing the drums at age 9. He later discovered his singing voice as well as the piano and organ. While honing his talents in church, Demetrius began forming his own local groups such as: The Cathedral Boys, As One and the Demetrius Tolefree Singers.

Demetrius has been featured on several projects. Credits include Lawrence Matthews and Friends (1995) and Bibleway Christian Fellowship (1997 & 2001). Demetrius has played for: Dorinda Clark-Cole, Twinkie Clark, Ricky Dillard, Rev. James Moore and Douglas Miller. He has opened for Kirk Franklin, Yolanda Adams, Donnie McClurkin, Fred Hammond and Rev. John P. Kee.

Robin has received the “Best Female Vocalist of the Year” award from the Bay Area Gospel Academy Awards twice. Billboard Magazine recognized her in August 2000 as one of Gospel’s “Hottest New Upcoming Artists.” In 2002, Robin was featured on television network’s “Bobby Jones Gospel Hour!”. And in 2004, thru 2006 and 2010 Robin was the musical director and featured artist of the play “Black Nativity” and “Joyful Noise “at the Lorraine Hansberry Theatre in San Francisco. Robin is aware that she is on a mission that shall be accomplished. That is: to spread the Joy and Love of God to all through her music and ministry. And, through the will of Jesus, Robin knows her mission will not be defeated!

1st Audition October 14th and 15th
2nd Audition October 21st and 22nd


4 Artists will be formally invited back by invitation to the Showcase based on the judges voting.


Showcase November 5, 2016


Tickets for the Showcase will be $15 each.


The Showcase will be judged on site and the winner will receive $1000.00
